IBV Energy representatives told the Ellis County Commission on Jan. 6 that a proposed Tallgrass solar facility covering roughly 1,156 acres would interconnect to a nearby 345‑kV transmission line, has completed Southwest Power Pool interconnection studies and is preparing environmental and cultural surveys required for state and federal permitting.
