County staff reported the PSAP (public safety answering point) grant work will begin Oct. 19 with the dispatch project moving forward under the NG9‑1‑1 grant. "On October 19, we will begin the dispatch project, which was part of the PSAP grant," a county representative said, noting the application has been submitted and that staff will meet with the DMA to clarify one request next week.
