Luke Masten, the county highway supervisor, told the board the purpose of the requested appropriation is to fund upcoming phases of large projects and several line items to help the highway department get to the end of the year. "The main goal of these appropriations are for some upcoming project phases for large projects as well as some additional funding and several line items to hopefully get us to the end of the year," Masten said.
