Board names TASB delegate and approves district refuse contract
Trustees named Francisco De Luna Jr. as the TASB delegate (Michael Lujan alternate) and approved a district-wide refuse services contract with South Texas Refuse Disposal, Inc., authorizing the Superintendent to finalize terms.

At the July 27 meeting, the Board of Trustees named Trustee Francisco De Luna Jr. as the official voting delegate to the 2026 Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Delegate Assembly and named Trustee Michael Lujan as the alternate. The motion to appoint the delegate and alternate was moved by Don Green and seconded by Elizabeth Hansen and passed with six affirmative votes.
