At its Aug. 27 meeting the Village of Ontonagon Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of a memorial tree request to the village council. Commissioner Lyle Perry made the motion and Commissioner Deb Seid seconded; the minutes record a unanimous roll-call vote in favor (AYE: Perry, Seid, Hamm, Sharkey, Chairperson Johnson).
