The Buchanan County Board of Supervisors approved hiring two paramedics for the county ambulance service with terms read into the record by the Chair (S1). The Chair stated: "Approve the hiring of Elijah Vilsack, paramedic, Buchanan County ambulance service, hourly wage of $25.50 effective 10/13/2026." The board moved, seconded and the motion carried.
