Doug Schnell, reporting for the Department of Public Works, told the council that all fire hydrants in the village have been winterized and that the fire department will be notified to ensure readiness in case of fire. He said a newly ordered pickup has arrived, been lettered and is awaiting its new plate, and that street asphalt repairs and cold patching have been completed.
