GROSSE POINTE, Mich. — During the May 5 budget presentation, Finance Director Kleinow told Council members that the Solid Waste Fund’s operational expenditures are no longer fully covered by the Solid Waste Levy and that the fund balance has declined by about 30% from the current year.
