Council adopts road-closure resolutions for Decatur Day and Fourth of July parade
Trustees unanimously adopted Resolution 2026-011 (Decatur Day Festival) and Resolution 2026-012 (Annual Fourth of July Parade hosted by VFW Post 6248) to permit road closures for those events.

The Village Council unanimously approved two separate road-closure resolutions on June 1 authorizing streets to close for upcoming community events. Trustee Beute moved adoption of Resolution 2026-011 for the Decatur Day Festival; Trustee Beute later sponsored Resolution 2026-012 to permit the Fourth of July Parade hosted by VFW Post 6248. Both motions carried 7-0.
