Jon Brechtelsbauer of CarbonSix and Van Buren County Treasurer Trisha Nesbitt presented a financial update on the Bergen Building blight-elimination project, reviewing contract values, prime changes and contingency balances. The packet and presentation showed an original construction contract of $3,792,166, a current contract value listed at $4,118,362.80, and a reported budget shortfall of $1,238,951.39.
