The Adams County Board of Commissioners voted to appoint Angel Murtaugh as Adams County Assessor during the Dec. 16, 2025 meeting. Commissioner Joe Patterson nominated Murtaugh and Commissioner Harold Johnson seconded; the appointment passed by a 5-2 roll call (Ayes: Michael Stromer, Lee Hogan, Harold Johnson, Tim Reams, Joe Patterson; Nays: John Rostvet, Chuck Neumann).
