Sheriff presents jail medical services proposal; commissioners request meeting with ODRC representative

Pickaway County Sheriff Hafey told commissioners on July 7 that his office had a proposal from TeamHealth/Premier Physicians Services, Inc. to provide additional medical services to the county jail. The minutes record that the proposal was described as "to provide additional 12 hours of medical service per week. This would provide up to 88 hours a week of medical services to Pickaway County Jail Allowing daily nursing coverage of 12 hours daily." Commissioners requested a personal meeting with Christopher Galli from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction prior to any approval.
