Select Board advances $10,000 for Town Hall repairs from fund balance

Chairman Hobart "Hoby" Harmon reviewed recent town hall maintenance projects — repointing bricks, repairing rotten fascia and installing new gutters — and said those repairs were partly funded by last year’s $20,000 trust allocation. He said the current Town Hall Expendable Trust balance is about $5,525 and the proposed $10,000 addition from the unassigned fund balance would bring it to roughly $15,525 to address future maintenance needs including potential furnace replacement.
