The Amelia County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution appointing Eric Pollitt, the county administrator, as director of emergency management as defined in Code of Virginia §44‑146.19. The board also appointed Kent Emerson as coordinator of emergency management, Kimberly Smith as deputy coordinator, and named Kent Emerson as hazardous‑materials coordinator under the code citation given.
