Kearney County planning panel recommends updated floodplain regulations to county board
The Kearney County Joint Planning Commission opened a public hearing, heard a presentation from the zoning administrator and unanimously voted to recommend updated floodplain regulations to the Kearney County Board of Commissioners; the rules will be sent to the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources for approval to maintain National Flood Insurance Program eligibility.
