The City of Rolling Meadows Board of Fire & Police Commissioners finalized interview questions for firefighter/paramedic candidates at its Sept. 14, 2026 meeting and agreed to interview the highest‑scoring applicants to fill the available interview slots. The minutes record that 30 candidates were eligible to interview while only 24 time slots were available during the September interview dates; the commission added Oct. 22 as an additional interview date to accommodate more candidates.
