Meals on Wheels in Rockingham County serves hundreds but keeps 115 on waiting list

Kathy Powers, executive director of Aging, Disability and Transit Services, said Meals on Wheels currently has about 275 people enrolled countywide and serves roughly 350 individuals over the course of a year. "So as of today, there are about 275 people across Rockingham County that are enrolled in the program," Powers said, and she added that the program distributes roughly 70,000 meals annually.
