County panel authorizes staff to sign documents to keep Torzewski Waterpark renovations on schedule
The Committee of the Whole authorized the Buildings Grounds/Parks Director and/or County Administrator to sign documents within previously approved scope and funding to avoid delays on the Torzewski County Wetlands Waterpark Renovations Project, and heard a parks update on Torzewski Park while its water feature is closed.

The Lapeer County Committee of the Whole on July 11 authorized county staff to sign documents for the Torzewski County Wetlands Waterpark Renovations Project so work can proceed without administrative delay. The motion, moved by Commissioner Bryan Zender and supported by Commissioner William Hamilton, specifies the authorization is limited to the scope of work and funds previously approved by the Board (Board Motion #34-2024).
