City Manager Squyres described three DRRP grants Jacinto City was invited to manage after other cities failed to use or comply with earlier awards. Each grant is worth about $2 million. The projects are: a WWTP digester project (GLO-25-109-001-F043 phase 3) to complete work at the wastewater treatment plant after digester scope was separated to keep the larger project within a $5.3 million budget; the Lane Street Sewer Line Project (GLO-25-109-002-F214), a roughly $2 million sewer line intended to address serious storm-related sewer overflows; and a Fixed Communications Equipment Project (GLO-25-109-003-F215) to improve emergency communications and backup power, including new generators for the annex and fire station and an upgrade to a P25-compliant radio system.
