Pipestone County hires Tyler Rippentrop as Jail Administrator, approves PERA participation
The board approved hiring Tyler Rippentrop as Jail Administrator effective Aug. 3, 2020 and approved Resolution 59-28-20 to continue his participation in the PERA Police and Fire Plan; the board also approved termination of a full-time EMT position.

Human Resources Coordinator Cathy Feste asked the board to approve hiring Tyler Rippentrop as the county's Jail Administrator, effective Aug. 3, 2020 on Step C of the 2020 pay plan. Commissioner Luke Johnson moved to hire Rippentrop; Commissioner Les Nath seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
