The Bedford County Board of Commissioners voted Dec. 12, 2023, to appoint members to a newly constituted Opioid Committee. Mark Thomas moved to appoint Mark Potts, Chad Graham, Janice Brothers, Ysenia Garcia, Johnny Poff, Dr. Michael Talbot and Freda Lusk as chair; John Boutwell seconded the motion and it passed by voice vote.
