Heidi Kuhl of Northland Securities presented to the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors on Tax Increment Financing (TIF) during the May 21 meeting. Following the presentation, Chairman Kyle Stecker moved—and Supervisor Joshua Waechter seconded—a motion to approve an engagement letter with Northland Securities "and see what information they bring back." The motion passed in a 4–1 vote: Supervisor Jack Plathe voted no; Supervisors Tjarks, Waechter, Nath and Chairman Stecker voted yes.
