Committee hears animal control timeline update; Mill Building contractor withdraws
Lapeer County Building Grounds/Parks Director John Bustle updated the Properties Committee Jan. 23, 2025, on the animal control building schedule and said the contractor on the Mill Building no longer wants to complete the work without engineer involvement; Bustle said he will seek to recover the contractor deposit and pursue next steps.
