The Steele County Board of Commissioners appointed Robert Jarrett as Steele County Attorney on May 28, 2024, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of Julia Forbes. Commissioner Krueger moved the resolution and Commissioner Gnemi seconded; the board voted 5–0 to approve the appointment and the salary designation.
