Council approved the Johnson County Solid Waste District’s 2027 budget, levy and rate as presented; the adopted budget was recorded as $11,549.85, levy $10,614.53 and rate 0.0094. The measure passed by voice vote.

The Johnson County Council approved the Johnson County Solid Waste District’s budget for the 2027 fiscal year at its special meeting on Monday, October 12. Jesse Bickerman, the district’s executive director, asked the council to “adopt what was presented for their full budget,” and the figures were read into the record.
