Marion County appoints Kent Inman as county surveyor; four-year statutory term noted

The Marion County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 9 appointed Kent Inman, a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), to serve as Marion County Surveyor. Public Works described Inman’s qualifications, including a professional surveying license since 2004, prior service as Deputy County Surveyor for Lane County, work as an assistant to the City of Salem surveyor, private-sector experience and earlier work in the Marion County Surveyor’s Office.
