The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors went into closed session at the Aug. 13, 2024 meeting under Iowa Code §21.5(1)(c) to discuss the county contribution to the Emergency Management Agency with County Attorney Todd Holmes. The motion to enter closed session was made by Supervisor Roger Tjarks and seconded by Chairman Kyle Stecker; the roll call was Plathe yes, Tjarks yes, Waechter yes, Nath yes, Stecker yes. The meeting minutes state that no decision was made in closed session.
