The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Resolution #08-13-24-01 on Aug. 13, 2024, establishing a seven‑member county compensation board under Iowa Code §331.905. The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Supervisor Jack Plathe and seconded by Supervisor Carter Nath; the roll call vote was Plathe yes, Tjarks yes, Waechter yes, Nath yes, Stecker yes.
