Pine County approves master project agreement for Kettle/Upper St. Croix watershed projects
The board approved a Master Project Agreement with Aitkin County SWCD for the Kettle/Upper St. Croix Partnership (KUSCP) to implement projects funded by $1.4 million in One Watershed One Plan funds; the motion passed 4-0 with one commissioner temporarily absent.

County Auditor-Treasurer Kelly Schroeder told the board that the Board of Water and Soil Resources had released $1.4 million in One Watershed One Plan (1W1P) funds for implementation of Kettle/Upper St. Croix projects. The KUSCP Steering Committee decided to use a single master project agreement with each member rather than separate agreements for every project.
