Stacey Carlson presented an Animal Control Ordinance Enhancement Proposal and an addendum to the Village Board during the Fire, Law & Safety committee report, supplying photos showing her dog was injured on March 20, 2026 by another dog in the village. Carlson asked the board to strengthen enforcement provisions in the municipal ordinance to increase safety, reduce liability and create clearer expectations for residents.
