County engineer reports completed roadside clearing and ongoing patching work
Ringgold County Engineer Jared Johnson reported work-order W.O. 1341 to clear brush and re‑shape 0.85 miles of roadside ditching is complete; crews continue pothole patching, chip‑rock staging and mowing across maintainer districts.

Ringgold County Engineer Jared Johnson updated the Board of Supervisors on road and maintenance operations on May 19, 2025. Johnson told the board that spot rock was hauled to the Southwest maintainer district and chip rock was hauled and stockpiled for upcoming patching operations. He said the county's pothole patcher was active last week in the southern part of the county and will continue to be deployed to repair road defects.
