Board delays conditional conservation land purchase for buffer review
The Board of Supervisors unanimously postponed action for two weeks on a conditional purchase agreement for parcels in Riverdale and Cresco townships to allow staff (Kendall Stumme) to investigate buffer requirements.

At its Oct. 29 meeting the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to postpone consideration of a conditional purchase agreement for land in Section 2 & 3 of Riverdale Township and Section 34 of Cresco Township. Supervisor Joshua Waechter moved the two-week postponement, seconded by Supervisor Carter Nath, to allow Kendall Stumme to look into buffer requirements related to the proposed purchase by Conservation.
