Kossuth County adopts construction evaluation resolution for confinement feeding permits

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors on Jan. 2, 2025 approved Resolution 01-02-25-01 to adopt a construction evaluation resolution under Iowa Code §459.304(3), a step that allows the county to evaluate and submit recommendations to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources on construction permits for confinement feeding operation structures.
