Pocahontas County trims Sheriff's FY25 budget request by $150,000 at workshop
During a Feb. 27 workshop the Pocahontas County Board reduced the Sheriff's FY25 budget request by $150,000 and instructed the auditor to revise the sheriff's draft accordingly before returning it with directions to decrease the request.

At an 11:15 a.m. workshop on Feb. 27 the Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors reviewed department budget requests for fiscal 2025 and agreed to a targeted reduction to the Sheriff's request.
