Committee approves shared Soil Erosion Inspector for Health and Drain offices
Lapeer County authorized creation of a full-time Soil Erosion Inspector (Pay Grade 16) to provide SESC and inspection services shared by Environmental Health and the Drain Commissioner, replacing contracted engineering and expected to save money while keeping costs within department budgets.

The Lapeer County Personnel Committee voted Sept. 11 to create a full-time Soil Erosion Inspector position to serve both the Health Department (Environmental Health) and the Drain Commissioner’s Office.
