Staff said vehicle sales are currently prohibited in many conventional commercial and industrial districts and proposed aligning vehicle-sales permissions more closely with vehicle rentals by allowing sales by special exception in C-3, C-4, I-3, I-4 and I-5 districts with additional standards to mitigate impacts.
