Auditor/Treasurer Amanda Sandy and Senior Appraiser Chris McChesney presented a proposed revision to the Pipestone County Home Initiative tax abatement policy, intended to be effective Jan. 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2025. The board discussed details of the program’s history and the types of properties and assistance that should qualify for the abatements.
