The Talladega County Commission approved a proclamation recognizing Calvin Miller's retirement from the EDA and approved a direct support agreement between the commission and Liberty Learning Foundation during its May 27 meeting. Commissioner Darrell Ingram moved to approve the proclamation for Calvin Miller; Commissioner Tony A. Haynes seconded and the motion carried. Later, Commissioner Haynes moved to approve the direct support agreement and Commissioner Ingram seconded; the motion carried.
