Kossuth County supervisors commit up to $250,000 toward fairgrounds grandstands

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously March 18 to commit funding toward improvements at the Kossuth County Fairgrounds. Supervisor Howard Haas moved to "commit $50,000 a year for a sum of $250,000 over five years to the Kossuth County Fairgrounds Grandstands project," and the board approved an amendment that rephrased the commitment to "commit $50,000 a year this year with a total of $250,000 within 5 years."
