Lyon County supervisors approve FY2025 budget amendment after brief public hearing
After a short public hearing with no public comment, the Lyon County Board of Supervisors approved FY2025 Budget Amendment #1 on a 4-1 vote. The amendment shifts funds for recorder scanning, multiple conservation projects, ADA ramp work and $140,000 for flood costs.

Chairman Jerry Birkey convened the Lyon County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 22, 2024, and the board opened a public hearing at 8:45 a.m. on FY2025 Budget Amendment #1. No members of the public spoke during the hearing, which the board closed shortly thereafter.
