Adair County awards $269,672 Riverside Ave. bridge contract to Govco Inc.; approves engineer wage progression
On April 1 the Adair County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2025-20 to award a Riverside Ave. bridge replacement contract to Govco Inc. for $269,672 and approved a $1.16/hour wage progression for engineer staff member Bret Gebhart effective April 17, 2025. The Adair County Board of Supervisors on April 1 adopted Resolution #2025-20 to award the bid for Project LFM-LBRW1 L-7X-01 (Riverside Ave.) to Govco Inc., Red Oak, Iowa, for $269,672.00. The resolution authorizes the chair to sign contract documents and took effect immediately following a roll-call vote in which Supervisors Michael Christoffersen, Matt Wedemeyer, Walker, Jodie Hoadley and Chair Nathan Baier recorded aye votes.
