Oconee County Council voted unanimously Oct. 4 to discontinue retirement coverage for part‑time temporary PSE employees, saying the positions are considered temporary and not eligible for the county retirement plan. The motion was made by Mr. Bailes and seconded by Mr. Moore and passed without recorded opposition.
