The Jackson County Board of Commissioners unanimously appointed Commissioner Rick Dyer as chair and Commissioner Randy Sparacino as vice‑chair for 2026 during its Jan. 7 regular meeting. The motion, made by Commissioner Colleen Roberts and seconded by Commissioner Randy Sparacino, passed with Commissioners Roberts, Sparacino and Dyer voting aye.
