Oneida County to align refuse contracts across facilities, solicit bids mid‑2026
County staff told the Facilities Committee they plan to align refuse collection contracts for courthouse, Law Enforcement Center, Public Health/ADRC and Timber Drive facilities so they all end Feb. 1, 2027, enabling a single solicitation to be issued to local vendors beginning mid‑2026.

Lindsey Kennedy, recording secretary for Oneida County, told the County Facilities Committee Dec. 15 that the county plans to consolidate refuse collection contracts for county facilities and to solicit competitive quotes next year.
