Board sets demolition bid date, appoints change-order representative and holds executive session on contracts
The Board set a demolition bid date (Sept. 10) and later amended the motion to set demolition to begin Nov. 12, appointed Commissioner Timothy Higgins to approve change orders for county construction projects, and held an executive session on contract negotiations.

Facilities Director Stephen Gaasch briefed the Board on current construction projects and requested a bid date for a building-demolition proposal. The Board moved and passed a motion to set a bid date of Sept. 10, 2024 at 8:30 A.M. for the demolition proposal, originally scheduled to begin Oct. 14. The Board later amended the motion to state demolition is set to begin Nov. 12, 2024.
