Kossuth County veterans office reports 48 open claims, low approvals year-to-date
At its Aug. 11, 2022 meeting, the Kossuth County Commission of Veterans Affairs heard from Director Daniel D. Green that the office is tracking 1,073 veteran records, with 48 open claims and limited Iowa VET Trust Fund approvals year-to-date; two HISA grants are pending for 2022.
