Representatives for the Booneville Gun Club asked the board to grant an educational exemption for roughly 23 acres the club uses for clay target shooting and a youth program. At the podium, a club leader said the property "is used for clay target shooting, and we have a youth team that we teach clay target shooting to," and stressed the club’s year‑round youth activities and public access.
