Board approves multiple professional contract renewals and term changes
Apr 13, 2026
Trustees approved a series of motions to renew, convert, or extend certified and non-certified contracts, moving many probationary contracts to one-year term status. All listed motions carried as recorded; one line in the minutes contains a typographical tally 'Motion carried 7-20.'
The full story
During the April 13 meeting the board approved multiple professional contract actions across sections labeled i–ix in the minutes. Actions included approving one-year term contracts, converting one-year probationary contracts to one-year term contracts, renewing dual-assignment contracts, and moving non-certified contracts to one-year dual-assignment probationary status. The motions are recorded individually and the minutes list the vote as 7-0 for each motion except one instance where the minutes show 'Motion carried 7-20,' which appears to be a typographical error.
