Chesterfield County Finance Committee backs budget draft, sends recommendations to full Council
At its April 21 meeting the Chesterfield County Finance Committee reviewed the first draft of the 2025–26 General Fund budget, approved several department funding requests (including increases for the Solicitor and Public Defender), denied some grant requests, recommended staffing and fee changes, and voted to forward the committee’s recommendations to the full County Council.
