The Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 25-26/007 on April 15, 2025, asking that the State of Wisconsin include funding in its biennial budget to ensure matching funds for the continuation of Wisconsin-related passenger rail corridor studies. The committee amendment inserting the word “potentially” at the beginning of two lines was moved by Supervisor Kirk Dahl and seconded by Supervisor James A. Dunning and passed unanimously before the final vote.
